Bundles of Hope

About Us

Central Pennsylvania Pink Connection is a breast cancer support network that started in 2006 when two breast cancer survivors came together with a shared vision and desire to help women and families affected by breast cancer. Our mission is to provide awareness & education throughout the communities of central Pennsylvania and support to individuals within them.

Beyond the medical support of a healthcare team, emotional support of family and friends, and spiritual support from a church or pastor, Pink Connection allows you the opportunity to "connect" with individuals who have faced breast cancer themselves.

We provide Bundles of Hopegift boxes for newly diagnosed breast cancer survivors. The boxes contain awareness items as well as a booklet full of information and resources. We are happy to mail these out.

When there is a need postoperatively or during treatment, we offer a one-time stipend (in the form of a gift card) that can be used towards medication, food, daily living supplies and travel expenses.

If you, or someone you know would benefit from a Bundles of Hope gift box or a gift card, please email the Central Pennsylvania Pink Connection office at papinkconnection@gmail.com

Monthly Support Squad Meetings

We hold monthly support squad meetings, schedule informational guest speakers, offer one-on-one support with other survivors, hold special events to educate and celebrate milestones and offer a message of hope! Most months, the support squad meets at 6 pm the second Wednesday of the month in the lower level of the Regional Business Center, located at 152 East Market Street, Lewistown. Email us for more information.

Paint Out Town Pink

We promote breast cancer awareness through our annual "Paint Our Town Pink"initiative, speaking at local events and providing educational materials and pink ribbons to schools, clubs, and businesses who have joined the fight against cancer.
